2025 Winter Drive
Charter Oak is hosting a Winter Drive starting Tuesday, October 14th until Thursday, November 20th. We are asking for the following items in any size: new socks, new or gently used gloves, sweaters, jackets, and boots. All donations will be given to Madonna Place in Norwich, CT.
All Charter Oak branches will be drop-off locations. If you would like to donate, please put your donations in the big box located in the lobby. If you have any questions about the Winter Drive, please feel free to contact Community Relations @ 860.446.8085 ext. 3275 or .
Movie Night Recap
September 19th was our final movie night of 2025. We played Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle for over 40 attendees! We all enjoyed the free popcorn, and delicious donuts and drinks from Dudes Donuts. Thank you to our vendors and all that attended!
Halloween Safety Tips
- Be sure to choose a costume that won’t cause safety hazards; all costumes, wigs and accessories should be fire-resistant.
- Teach your children never to enter a stranger’s home or car.
- Drive Carefully – watch for children walking on roadways, medians and curbs.
- Tell your children not to eat any treats until they return home so candy can be inspected and to avoid any food allergies
