American Red Cross Blood Drive

Charter Oak will be hosting another Blood Drive with American Red Cross at their Headquarters location at 1055 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford on Thursday, February 19th from 1pm-6pm.

Charter Oak Awards $45,000 in Grants

The Grant Committee reviewed 24 grant applications in the fourth quarter. In December they awarded 18 grants, a total of $45,000. These grants will be supporting organizations that focus on human services, housing, arts, education and health programs.

Trailblazers Volunteer Over 400 Hours

The Trailblazers had another amazing year of volunteering! Collectively, The Trailblazers volunteered for over 410 hours – breaking last year’s record of 285 hours. Their volunteer efforts make a difference in the communities we live in, so thank you to all the Trailblazers for their dedication to giving back to the community.

2026 Events

In 2025, HQ hosted two drive-in movie nights, three concert nights and a truck-or-treat event. All these events were such a success that we are excited to announce that there will be more events in 2026!

This year we will be hosting the following:

Movie Night – May and September
Summer Concerts – June, July and August
Trunk-or-Treat – October
