 7 Community Sponsorships Granted

Throughout the month of January, Charter Oak received numerous sponsorship applications. The committee approved 7 applications, a total of $7,600.  These 7 organizations ranged from little league teams to human services.

Apply Now for Our Scholarship

Charter Oak is now accepting scholarship applications until March 13th!

This year, we will be awarding a total of $100,000 in scholarships to deserving high school and college students in New London and Windham counties!

Trailblazers Volunteering: Going Above and Beyond

The Trailblazers are off to a good start! They have already volunteered over 18 hours.  Throughout the month of February, the Trailblazers will be at a few United Way Mobile Food Pantries and on February 24th, catch them at the Chowder Fest at the Olde Mistick Village. The Trailblazers will be serving chowder, selling tickets, judging and more. We hope to see you there!

Free Shred Day Coming Soon

Shred Day is back! Charter Oak will be hosting a Shred Day on Saturday, May 18th at 9am-11am at the following locations:

HQ – 1055 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford, CT 06385

Norwich – 1 Connecticut Ave., Norwich, CT 06360

Dayville – 589 Hartford Pike, Dayville, CT 06241

To accommodate as many members as possible, a two-box limit will be enforced. In addition to offering free shredding services, Charter Oak will be collecting non-perishable items for local food pantries.
