Sponsorship Impact: Over $28,000 Awarded in January
Charter Oak saw strong community engagement in January, with numerous sponsorship requests submitted. We’re proud to have approved 34 requests, totaling $28,425 in support for local programs and initiatives.
Some of these organizations include Always Home, Healing Therapies Thru Sharing, MALTA, Inc., Special Olympics, Youth Sports Teams and more.
21st Annual Cabin Fever: Charity Chowder Cook Off
Charter Oak is once again proud to volunteer at and sponsor the 21st Annual Cabin Fever: Charity Chowder Cook Off. All proceeds for this event benefit Always Home, a non-profit agency dedicated to preventing family homelessness throughout Southeastern CT.
This year, Chowder Fest will be taking place on Saturday, February 28th, 12pm – 4pm at the Olde Mistick Village.
If you’re looking to have some fun in the cold weather, come join us at Chowder Fest!
Shred Day: Coming Soon
Shred Day is back! Charter Oak will be hosting a shred day on Saturday, May 9th at 9am-11am at the following locations:
HQ – 1055 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford, CT 06385
Norwich – 1 Connecticut Ave., Norwich, CT 06360
Dayville – 589 Hartford Pike, Dayville, CT 06241
To accommodate as many members as possible, a two-box limit will be enforced. In addition to offering free shredding services, Charter Oak will be collecting non-perishable items for local food pantries.
