SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS!

We will be awarding $90,000 in college scholarships* this spring. Students are encouraged to apply now through March 15th for a chance to win a $2,000 college scholarship.

Two applications are available. Please complete the application below that best describes your situation.

Please review our program guidelines prior to completing the application to ensure that you qualify for a $2,000 college scholarship. Unfortunately, applications cannot be saved and completed at a later time. All applicants will be required to submit an essay and highlight their community involvement and/or extracurricular activities. We no longer require letters of recommendation, but will accept up to three recommendation letters per applicant.

*This unique scholarship program will reward at least one high school senior from each eligible high school in New London and Windham counties (with an enrollment of at least 100 students) with a $2,000 scholarship. Most high school student applicants will essentially be competing against their peers, rather than competing with students throughout eastern Connecticut.

Financial Literacy

Charter Oak also gives back to the community by promoting financial education and awareness. Our two high school branches (located at Killingly High School in Dayville and Robert E. Fitch Senior High School in Groton) employ students interested in careers in financial service, and encourage students to start saving for the future.
