Important Information for Quicken®, QuickBooks® and Mint Users®

Charter Oak Federal Credit Union will offer our members an improved Online Banking experience on March 23rd, 2021 with great new features and options, whether you’re banking electronically from your desktop, laptop or smartphone!

This upgrade to our Online Banking platform will require that you make changes to your QuickBooks or Quicken software, so please take these important action steps below in a timely fashion to ensure a smooth transition to Charter Oak’s improved Online Banking experience.

Comprehensive Conversion Instructions are available below. These conversion instructions reference two important Action Dates. Please use the dates provided below:

1st Action Date: Friday, March 19th

It’s important that a data file backup and a final transaction download should be completed by this date. So please make sure to complete the final download before this date since a transaction history might not be available after the upgrade.

2nd Action Date: Tuesday, March 23rd

This is the action date for the remaining steps on the conversion instructions found below. You will need to complete the deactivate/reactivate of your Online Banking connection to ensure that you get your current Quicken or QuickBooks accounts set up with the new connection.

Please note that aggregation services may be interrupted for up to 5 business days. Users are encouraged to download a QFX/QBO file during this outage. The following services may not work during the outage:

  • Quicken Win/Mac Express Web Connect
  • QuickBooks Online Express Web Connect
  • Mint

It’s also important to carefully review your downloaded transactions after completing the migration instructions to ensure that no transactions were duplicated or missed on the register.
