Fitch Students Cash in for a Good Cause!
Fitch Student Peter Pouliot and Assistant Principal Sean McKenna made a visit to Charter Oak's Long Hill Road branch to process hundreds of coins through the Credit Union's coin machine. Collected by Fitch students this fall to benefit Groton food banks, students donated $503 to help feed needy families this winter.
Collecting not just pennies, but coins of all denominations this time around, students were able to raise $339 more than last year. With support needed now more than ever, these students really deserve a special thank you this holiday season! Keep up the good work!
